Amazon unveiled its Account Health Assurance program designed to make it easier for merchants to resolve issues with their accounts. An Amazon account health specialist will notify a merchant of a problem and give them 72 hours to respond. The merchant's account won't be deactivated if they agree to help resolve the issue.
More:
Currently, the program is only available for merchants in the U.S. and Canada, and it will be introduced in other markets in the future.
The program is available for merchants that have maintained an Account Health Rating of at least 250 for a minimum of six months.
Amazon says eligible merchants will automatically be enrolled in the free program.
There are 1.9 million third-party sellers on Amazon's marketplace.
